Booking Terms

Uptown Reservations acts only as a booking agent between paying guests and hosts. The information provided is based upon the circumstances normally in existence in the homes which have been inspected by us and every attempt has been made to ensure a high standard of accommodation. Uptown Reservations does not provide accommodation nor does it own or control those who provide accommodation. Your contract is with your hosts. We do not accept responsibility for any matters which arise as a result of events beyond our control. Uptown Reservations is not responsible in the event of any loss of property or injury sustained by you or any other visitor at the host's accommodation.

In order to give the agency and the host the opportunity to rectify any problems which may arise, complaints must be notified both to the host and Uptown Reservations prior to the departure of the guest. Complaints submitted after departure will not be eligible for any refund.

Guests should keep in mind that they are being welcomed into people's private homes and not into a professionally managed hotel, and should respect the host's privacy and conduct themselves in a reasonable and peaceful manner.

Uptown Reservations reserves the right to transfer accommodation should it prove or be considered necessary or offer a full refund of monies and will notify guests of any change as soon as possible. The advance deposit confirms your acceptance of the booking terms and also confirms each night of of your visit, not just the first one. It is not refundable.

Guests are expected to pay their hosts the outstanding fees for their stay on arrival; this payment signifies acceptance of the host accommodation provided.

Uptown Reservations strongly advises guests to take out full travel insurance for their own protection.
